1. Choose How You Want to Claim
Option 1: GapOnly® 3 (on the spot Claims at the Vet)
How it works:
- Tell your vet you’re insured with Potiki and request a GapOnly®3 claim
- The vet submits the claim during your visit
- You pay only the gap once the claim is approved
- No paperwork, no waiting!
Option 2: Claim Online Anytime
What you’ll need:
A copy of your vet’s itemised invoice
Vet consultation notes (showing diagnosis and treatment)
Your pet’s full medical history (for first-time claims)
Simply log in and upload the documents—we’ll handle the rest.
2. What Happens Next?
Once your claim is submitted:
Our claims team will review and assess it quickly
You’ll be notified via email once the claim is processed
Approved claims will be reimbursed directly to your nominated bank account
In most cases, you’ll get your payout in a few business days (Once all required claims documentation has been received).
