1. Choose How You Want to Claim
Option 1: GapOnly® (Instant Claims at the Vet)
If your vet is part of the GapOnly® network, you only pay the difference (“the gap”) between the total vet bill and what your policy covers—on the spot.
How it works:
Tell your vet you’re insured with Potiki and request a GapOnly® claim
The vet submits the claim during your visit
You pay only the gap once the claim is approved
No paperwork, no waiting!
Option 2: Claim Online Anytime
Can’t use GapOnly®? No problem. Use our easy online portal to submit your claim after your visit.
What you’ll need:
A copy of your vet’s itemised invoice
Vet consultation notes (showing diagnosis and treatment)
Your pet’s full medical history (for first-time claims)
Simply log in and upload the documents—we’ll handle the rest.

You’ll be notified via email once the claim is processed
